Only a small group of lucky Silicon Valley Bank investors made it out with all their money.

Coincidentally, all of the bank’s management was in this “lucky” group, and they somehow had enough time to sell all their security stakes. Did they know about the coming collapse?

When President Biden assures us that all is under control, it means the opposite. He says our banking system is “safe.” If that’s true, how did a major bank collapse? When he tells us our deposits are “safe,” I again assume the opposite. If banks are collapsing, no investment is safe.

After Mr. Biden instructed his administration to take steps to protect small businesses and workers’ money, I ran to the bank.
