There is now the potential for a nightmare scenario that would alter our political and justice systems for the worse.

As I see it, the indictment of former President Donald Trump indictment may very well result in a coalition of three voting factions, which would result in Mr. Trump’s election irrespective of a conviction and jail time.

This coalition would consist of voters who support Mr. Trump unequivocally, voters who would never vote for President Biden or any Democrat, and voters who have concluded that our political system is corrupt and our justice system is two-tiered.

That coalition could propel Mr. Trump back into office. Mr. Trump would then pardon himself, which would mean all future presidents and their families could engage in any criminal conduct only to receive presidential pardons.

The result: The Constitution and the social and moral underpinnings of this great country would no longer mean anything.

Our country would soon look like Democratic-run cities: essentially lawless frontier towns. So it’s imperative that Attorney General Merrick Garland withdraw the indictment and do what should have been done last year — have the special counsel issue a report and close the matter or proceed civilly against Mr. Trump.

Concomitantly, the House should proceed with impeachment against Mr. Biden with two objectives: use the power of the impeachment subpoena to get the truth out of the FBI and bring the country’s attention to Mr. Biden’s long criminal history. The legacy media would not be able to ignore an impeachment as they did with the Hunter Biden laptop story and the current Biden bribery story.

We must recognize that the allegations of Biden family criminal conduct, if true, are far more egregious and damaging to our national security than anything in the Trump indictment.
