The Mubadala Citi DC Open announced the bulk of its main draw field Thursday, nearly filling out the roster of players coming to the District later this month.

The newly-announced players include five more of the WTA’s top 20 and eight more of the ATP’s top 50. On the women’s side, that includes world No. 8 Maria Sakkari, defending D.C. champion Liudmila Samsonova, American and seven-time WTA winner Madison Keys, and former world No. 1 Karolina Pliskova.

For the men, six-time ATP winner Hubert Hurkacz, 2022 D.C. finalist and former Washington Kastle Yoshihito Nishioka, and Americans Sebastian Korda, Christopher Eubanks, and J.J. Wolf are all joining the Washington field.

Those names come in addition to a group of headliners announced last month, including ATP No. 2 Daniil Medvedev, Hyattsville’s Francis Tiafoe, American Taylor Fritz, defending men’s champion Nick Kyrgios, WTA No. 3 Jessica Pegula and WTA No. 6 Coco Gauff.

A total of 48 men and 32 women will compete in the singles draws. Additional players will join the main draws via wild card entry, which the tournament will announce in the coming weeks.

The event, held July 29- Aug. 6 in Rock Creek Park, recently combined with the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic to create the Mubadala Citi DC Open. It is the only combined 500-level ATP and WTA event in the world.
