One thing that should be clear to Americans, whether Christian or not, is that spiritual warfare has escalated, said worship leader Sean Feucht, whose nationwide tour of state capitols is nearly halfway over.

There are planned protests of the events, including from satanist groups, during the “Kingdom to the Capitol” tour stops scheduled for Olympia, Salem, and Boise, this Friday through Sunday. Mr. Feucht, who is in partnership with the Let Us Worship ministry and Turning Point USA (TPUSA Faith), told the Washington Times that it’s time for Christ’s followers to “be the light.”

“There is an inundation and an overwhelming intensity of evil right now,” Mr. Feucht said. “It’s kind of being unmasked in many ways. We’re not called to hide in a corner. It’s time for the church to get out of the four walls. And that’s the very thing the enemy doesn’t want us to do.”

Mr. Feucht said that “no one can deny” the spiritual aspect of what is being revealed in today’s news. There is an “overwhelming part” to current events, he said. Through the media, Americans are seeing stories of evil uncovered and sin celebrated.

For example, the darkness of human trafficking operations worldwide has been revealed to a much larger scale as the result of the recently released movie, “Sound of Freedom.”

“They see it in Sam Smith’s Grammy performance that is literally worship to Satan. They are seeing it in the perversion in front of our kids. They’re seeing it with the propagation of these ideologies, even in ‘your face’ at Target like chest binders right when you walk into the store,” Mr. Feucht said.

Although satanists have “messed” with Let Us Worship events before, their demonstrations have intensified, Mr. Feucht said.

“One of the reasons why satanists are infuriated is that we’re bringing worship to the state capitols,” he said. “We’ve experienced some resistance before, but it’s on a whole different scale now. We’re bringing worship to places where abortion decrees are made and where perversion laws [proposed and passed] enable them to get to our kids.”

“We’re coming to their territories and they feel threatened. So, they’re manifesting and freaking out because they know their time is over.”

Mr. Feucht said he wants to encourage Christians to step out in faith.

“In many ways, it’s a season where it says [in the Bible] that darkness covers the earth,” he said. “Darkness is over the faces of the people but the glory of the Lord arises on you. That’s the season we’re in. Darkness does cover the earth,” he continued alluding to Isaiah 60.

However, he points out that, in the darkness, it’s the easiest to see the light.

“It’s time not to be a spectator. It’s time to realize that now is the time to fight for our families, our future, and our faith,” he said. “This is not a political fight. This is a spiritual fight. That’s one of the reasons we’re doing it. It’s Biblical.”

Mr. Feucht said that when those attending a Kingdom to the Capital event stand in front of the government building while praying and worshiping, it’s a “visual representation.”

“This [capital building] is the place where the laws come out of here, the decrees come out of here, and they really control our lives,” he said. “They affect our education, our businesses, our economy, and our health care … why not go and bring God’s presence to that place that needs it so badly because if you affect that place with your prayers, it’s going to change your state. My encouragement is that believers adopt a more holistic approach to the Bible in the Gospel.”

“The Church becomes a threat to Satan and the demonic when its people do more than simply attend Sunday services and meetings,” Mr. Feucht said. “That’s the moment where the Church becomes a threat. We’re walking in the footsteps of the book of Acts and the Gospels.”

In reference to the next three tour stops, Mr. Feucht said, “We’re modeling the prayer of Jesus (The Lord’s Prayer). His Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Olympia, Washington… as it is in heaven in Salem, Oregon… as it is in heaven in Boise, Idaho.”
