Facebook is serenading former President Donald Trump to return to its platform, and Twitter is practically begging his thumbs to come back.

Meanwhile, President Biden is under investigation for stealing classified documents from the Obama administration, his family has been exposed for leading an international influence-peddling operation, one of the FBI’s counterintelligence officials who led the fraudulent Trump-Russia investigation has been arrested for spying, and Rep. Adam Schiff has been booted from the Intelligence Committee for lying and leaking sensitive government secrets.

Oh, my, how the tables have turned. Welcome to the 2024 presidential campaign.

Anyone who doesn’t think Mr. Trump has a political future is not paying attention.

His hiatus from the spotlight has been good for him. His role as the crack cocaine of our political discourse was wearing us all out.

Also, allowing others to fill the spotlight has been devastating for his enemies. Just ask Mr. Schiff, a serial leaking liar who spent the past five years in delusional pursuit of Mr. Trump.

We now know with certainty that much of what Mr. Schiff promised about nefarious relations between Mr. Trump and Russia were fantastical, partisan lies. We also know that the California congressman took the information he learned as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and leaked it to friendly reporters willing to write up any lies that might hurt Mr. Trump.

Wisely, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy kicked Mr. Schiff off the Intel Committee, along with fellow California Congressman Eric Swalwell, who had been compromised by a Chinese spy.

No international spy writer or comedian could make this stuff up.

Anyway, Mr. Schiff was so offended over being booted from Intel that he taped a video of himself offering “some troubling news.”

“Kevin McCarthy removed me from the House Intelligence Committee — all for doing my job, for holding Trump accountable and standing up to the extreme MAGA Republicans.”

FACT CHECK: You lied about Mr. Trump. You openly peddled disinformation provided by the Russian government. And you leaked American secrets to the press.

Best of all, Mr. Schiff posted his video diary on TikTok, the video website owned by the Chinese Communist Party.

As one person noted: “First thing Adam Schiff does once he gets removed from the Intel committee was post a video asking for money on a Chinese Communist Party spyware and propaganda platform.”

Meanwhile, the former FBI counterintelligence official who helped lead the sprawling and discredited Trump-Russia collusion investigation — that Mr. Schiff spent years hyping — has been arrested for violating U.S. sanctions against a Russian oligarch. Charles McGonigal served as chief of the cybercrimes section at FBI headquarters and was one of the bureau officials who helped launch the partisan investigation.

Perhaps richest of all is that Mr. Biden himself now stands accused of mishandling classified documents, just months after the Department of Justice ordered a search of Mr. Trump’s private residence, including his wife’s underwear drawer and son’s closet.

The primary difference is that the documents in Mr. Trump’s possession were from HIS administration, and he was negotiating with the National Archives about how to properly store the documents over which he had sole authority as president.

The top secret documents found in Mr. Biden’s many homes and Corvette garage came from the Obama administration, over which Mr. Biden had ZERO constitutional authority to declassify anything. But even more intriguing is the emerging evidence that Mr. Biden gave access to the stolen classified material to his crackhead, deadbeat, swindling son Hunter, who used the top-secret documents in private cables with foreign adversaries in order to enrich himself — and his father.

There is a word for this. It is called espionage. People go to jail for the rest of their lives for it. Sometimes, even worse.

And now that the FBI and the political press have apparently abandoned their political support for Mr. Biden, there is no stopping this investigation. Mr. Biden’s only hope may be to pardon his son.
