Report: Lisa Marie Presley suffers cardiac arrest, rushed to hospital

Lisa Marie Presley has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering from cardiac arrest and requiring revival at the scene.

According to a report Thursday in the celebrity-news site TMZ, the 54-year-old singer, the only daughter of superstar Elvis Presley went into “full arrest” and had to have epinephrine administered at the scene.

Citing “sources directly connected to Lisa Marie,” the celebrity-news site said paramedics rushed to her home in Calabasas, California, and were able to get her pulse going again before taking her to the hospital.

Ms. Presley was found unconscious in her bedroom by her housekeeper and received CPR until the paramedics came from her ex-husband Danny Keough, with whom she’s been living, TMZ reported, citing “a source with direct knowledge.”

Her mother Priscilla Presley was seen at the hospital, TMZ reported with a picture.

Ms. Presley has recorded three albums “To Whom It May Concern,” which was certified gold in the U.S., in 2003, “Now What” in 2005, and “Storm & Grace” in 2012.

“Now What” made the Top 10 on the Billboard album chart, and her records were generally praised for their blues sound and from-the-gut vocals.

She also recorded posthumous “duets” with her father, one of the biggest stars of the 20th century, one of which was a reworking of his chart-topping 1969 smash “In the Ghetto” using his original tracks and her own contemporary recording.

Ms. Presley also made a video of “Don’t Cry Daddy” in a similar vein, though it was made to be shown at an Elvis Presley tribute concert on the anniversary of his 1977 death and never commercially released as a single.

She has been married four times — to musician Danny Keough, singer Michael Jackson, actor Nicolas Cage, and music producer Michael Lockwood.

Her three living children are daughters Riley Keough, Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood, the latter being fraternal twins.

Son Benjamin Keough committed suicide in 2020 at age 27.
