President Biden wants more money for Ukraine, but we have already given that country over $12 billion and sent it a lot of weapons (“White House warns Congress: Ukraine aid to soon run dry without more funding,” web, Dec. 4).

Europe needs to to do its fair share and help Ukraine a lot more. Why is it all on us?

We need to give a lot more of everything to Israel — you know, that tiny country that lost 1,200 people, 32 of whom were Americans, in the murderous terrorist attack on Oct. 7? Where is the U.S. outrage for these butchered Americans or the 12 Americans who are still missing? And why is our president telling Israel to obey the rules of war but not saying anything to Hamas about obeying the same rules?

Mr. Biden seems afraid to call out Iran and its terror proxy Hamas. Someone needs to tell him (or put it in his teleprompter) that Israel is our ally and Ukraine is not. He’s so concerned about protecting Ukraine’s borders but couldn’t care less about ours.

This would seem to be a violation of his oath of office.
