OPINION:
America faces a crisis on almost every front.
The problems we face – open borders, unsustainable debt, a struggling economy, lack of energy security, and an increasingly volatile world did not just happen. Joe Biden’s ineptitude created them.
The cause of our problems is as clear as the solution.
I proudly endorse Donald Trump for President because he has a clear record of success and a vision for moving America into the future.
This country will not survive four more years of a Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration.
Families are unable to keep up with the inflation caused by the Democrats’ out-of-control spending.
Data compiled by Congress’ Joint Economic Committee found that inflation is costing the average Florida household an extra $1,078 a month.
The White House responds to this by telling you not to believe your lying eyes and that “Bidenomics is working.” Apparently, everything is going to plan when the cost of groceries is up 25%.
Fortunately, the country doesn’t buy Mr. Biden’s lies. Polling from Bloomberg shows the majority of voters agree with me and trust President Donald Trump to fix Mr. Biden’s economic disaster.
The Trump presidency brought us the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the largest tax overhaul in decades, which cut taxes for 82% of American households.
President Trump also stood up for American farmers and manufacturers and renegotiated awful trade deals like NAFTA, which Joe Biden supported, and gutted American industry in favor of foreign producers.
Likewise, President Trump respected American sovereignty and understood that weak immigration policies encourage illegal immigrants to attempt to cross our border. Joe Biden, on the other hand, has told illegal immigrants not to worry about being deported. He’s even said that a DUI should not be the basis for deportation.
In response, a flood of illegal immigrants is pouring across our border daily in a flagrant violation of our sovereignty. Since Joe Biden took office, more than 10 million illegal immigrants have been reported crossing into our country.
America’s enemies are taking advantage of Joe Biden. The number of individuals on the terror watch list encountered by Border Patrol on the southern border has increased from six in Fiscal year 2018 to 169 in Fiscal Year 2023.
President Trump promises to use all resources –including the military — to secure our border, deport illegal immigrants, and defeat the drug cartels unleashing death in American communities.
Joe Biden’s weakness is not just felt on America’s borders but in Ukraine and in Israel. Hamas and Russia would never have attempted their violent invasions if America had a respected leader in the White House. Mr. Biden is a joke, and our adversaries are treating him as such.
President Trump was no fan of war. He campaigned against war-mongers and started no new wars while in office. However, he understood that peace was only obtained through the credible threat of deterrence. When Iran was plotting to kill American soldiers, President Trump swiftly killed General Qasem Soleimani, a terrorist responsible for many American deaths.
The choice is clear to me – President Trump has delivered before and will deliver again. He is polling better in the general election than he has ever before, and Republicans should unite around him to take the fight to Joe Biden.
