President Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed success for the Afghanistan withdrawal — despite the deaths of 13 of our military personnel, the fact that we left Americans and others at the mercy of the Taliban, and that we essentially gifted billions of dollars in high-tech military equipment to terrorists.

Following Hamas’ Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel, Mr. Biden and Mr. Blinken have been advocating to the United Nations a great concern for the civilians in Gaza, a cease-fire and a two-state solution. They have also tried to control Israel’s response, claiming the need to save Palestinian lives.

These two are ignoring the real atrocities that took place: Hamas’ slaughter of more than 1,200 men, women and children (including babies). Families throughout Israel now mourn their lost loved ones and the terrorists’ barbaric methods of killing, rape and kidnapping.

Mr. Biden and Mr. Blinken are also sweeping under the rug the fact that many more people likely would have been killed by Iran-supplied missiles and mortars if it hadn’t been for Israel’s Iron Dome.

Unlike Hamas, Israel is doing its best to limit civilian casualties. Mr. Biden and Mr. Blinken should remember our response to the Dec. 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor, unite our allies behind Israel and condemn Iran and its evil proxy terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
