Former President Donald Trump is ahead of President Biden in two key swing states in a new poll.

In Arizona, Mr. Trump is preferred by 39% of likely voters, Mr. Biden is preferred by 34% and 20% said they would choose someone else.

In Georgia, Mr. Trump is preferred by 39%, Mr. Biden by 36% and 15% said “other,” according to a poll conducted by J.L. Partners for DailyMail.com.

In Wisconsin, Mr. Biden has 37% voter support, while the former president receives 32%.

All three states supported Mr. Trump in 2016 before switching to Mr. Biden in 2020.

Mr. Trump enjoys support by 31% of Black voters — long a key Democratic demographic. He also secures the support by 37% of Hispanic voters, while Mr. Biden garners 34%.

“Though Biden still has women and graduates on his side, as well as Black voters, Trump is narrowing the gap with the latter group as well as Hispanics,” James Johnson, co-founder of J.L. Partners, told the Daily Mail.

The poll surveyed 550 likely voters in each of the three states through landlines, text messages and apps. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.
