Disgraced former New York Rep. George Santos, in an expletive-filled rant, blamed New York City Mayor Eric Adams for his car’s broken window.

“What are you doing Mayor Adams? You should f——-g resign, you piece of s—-. You were a cop. You should know better. You should know how to run the city,” Mr. Santos said in a video posted early Wednesday morning on social media. “But no, you’re a f——-g inept asshole.”

Mr. Santos, who was expelled by the House on Dec. 1 amid criminal charges of campaign finance violations, showed a broken window of a white crossover SUV, which he said was a “brand f——-g new car.” The make and model could not be identified.

“The Christmas gift I got is a first for me. I never thought I’d experience this in my life,” he said. “I’m not even in the ghetto. I’m not in the ’hood. This is literally the reality.”

Mr. Adams’ office reacted with a tongue-in-cheek response.

Deputy Mayor for Communications Fabien Levy posted on X that he was “99% sure you broke into the car yourself.”

“Also, decided to look up the car (with all the bells and whistles) on Kelley Blue Book and you overvalued it … but that’s no surprise,” Mr. Levy said.

The mayor’s office declined to comment further.

New York City, like many other large metropolitan areas across the U.S., saw violent crime spike in 2022 but then decline significantly in 2023.

Mr. Santos, whose congressional district included parts of Long Island and Queens, urged Americans to stay away from the area.

“Don’t move to New York people. Stay the f—- away from here,” he said. “This city only cares to f—- over Americans and take our taxpayer dollars and shove it in the asses of these migrants while the city is dangerous.”
