OPINION:
While President Biden has committed several impeachable offenses, including the Afghanistan withdrawal and allowing an open-door policy to millions of invaders at our southern border, his most serious offense against the American people is one will cripple our economy and give China the supremacy it desires.
According to “Biden officials doubt EPA can clean power grid of all fossil fuels in 15 years” (web, Dec. 16), Mr. Biden’s plan to eliminate all coal-fired energy by 2040 is doubted even by members of his administration. With about 80% of the civilized world dependent on fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas and petroleum, this move could hardly be seen as representing the best interests of the American people.
China has no intention of shutting down its coal-fired plants; reports indicate it is building new coal-powered energy facilities every month.
Mr. Biden’s globalist allegiance would not only give China strategic manufacturing advantages, but superpower status in that area, too, since it already controls many of the minerals used in electric vehicle batteries.
With Mr. Biden’s efforts to cede our medical jurisdiction to the World Health Organization, submitting our economy to the Green New Deal is just one more in a long line of attempts by this incompetent administration to subvert American sovereignty to a one-world order.
We need a pro-America lion to stand for our people, not a parrot who simply relays policies from the United Nations and the Council on Foreign Relations.
