A car collided with a vehicle that was part of President Biden’s parked motorcade Sunday night in Wilmington, Delaware, as the president was attending a campaign event.  There were no reported injuries.

Mr. Biden was visiting his campaign headquarters when a sedan with Delaware plates collided with an SUV that was shielding his motorcade at a nearby intersection. Reporters traveling with the president said they heard a loud bang, and that Mr. Biden, who was standing nearby outside, reacted to the noise with a “surprised expression.”

Security agents drew their weapons on the driver, according to a White House pool report. The unidentified driver “held his hands up” and the media was quickly “shuffled back to the [press] van” that is part of the motorcade, according to the pool report.

The circumstances of the collision were not immediately clear.
