A plane full of passengers was evacuated at Chicago O’Hare International Airport Saturday after a baggage cart hit the aircraft’s engine.

The collision happened at 12:35 a.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said. The plane, Aeromexico Flight 661, was due to leave Chicago for Guadalajara, Mexico.

A worker driving the cart struck the plane’s left engine, the Chicago Police Department told WLS-TV.

More than 100 passengers and staff were aboard and no one was injured, police said.

Authorities didn’t say how much damage the cart caused. The plane, a Boeing 737, is scheduled for three flights Monday starting out of Mexico City, according to FlightRadar24.com. Aeromexico didn’t comment on Saturday’s incident or when the plane will reach Mexico City.
