I’ve been thinking about Donald Trump and wondering, why is this man running for president again?

Most would agree that Mr. Trump has achieved both fame and fortune. What will another four years in the White House bring him?

He’s in his 70s, a decade in which most people are retired or are considering retiring. He has money, several homes and a private plane; he could spend his days playing his beloved golf and just enjoying life with family and friends.

Most assuredly, solely because of his decision to run again, he is facing four major personal indictments on assorted charges by four different governmental jurisdictions.

In consideration of these personal assaults and challenges, I can only conclude that Mr. Trump sees the overwhelming problems facing this country — such as immigration, energy and crime — and in spite of the daunting personal risks, is determined to solve them.
