Thousands of rubber ducks floated along the Chicago River to reach the finish line Thursday for the annual Duck Derby. To take part in the race, people pay a fee to sponsor a rubber duck. Proceeds from the event go towards Special Olympics Illinois. The so-called splashdown launched from the Columbus Drive Bridge as crowds watched the ducks float to the finish line. According to the Chicago Duck Derby website, the event has raised more than $420,000. Video credit: ABC7 Chicago via AP.
