President Biden’s attacks on fossil fuels are responsible for the current hardships facing our citizens, including high costs for everything and shortages of essential medications and other products.

There has been no true debate allowing pros and cons on the real effects of carbon dioxide, nor on the effects of a potential loss of many essential petroleum byproducts. Why not make the Democratic and liberal climate activists, as well as the Biden administration’s military leadership, go without fossil fuels from now on? That should be for travel, heating and cooling, as well as military equipment. I wonder what the results would be.

If we wean ourselves from fossil fuels completely — as the political far left would have us do — how would our responders be able to deal
with natural disasters and acute situations? How would our military defend the country?

Until there are reliable, available substitutes to traditional energy, we need our fossil fuels so that we can survive, flourish and defend our nation.
