It’s baffling that the same people who demand the end of development across America to save heretofore unheard-of “endangered” species and preserve animal habitats seem perfectly fine with whale and dolphin beaching deaths and the slaughter of birds caused by wind turbines.

They also seem OK with the destruction of thousands of acres of animal habitat and clear-cutting of forests to accommodate the massive solar farms needed to support even a small city.

Meanwhile, it’s far past time to question why the mainstream press gives little ink to the environmental destruction caused in the manufacturing of these so-called green energy sources. They are expensive to maintain and produce unreliable energy, and most of the material used to generate their power is nonrecyclable. Too many continue to ignore this devastation, all in their utopian delusion of saving the planet from climate change, a process that is completely natural.

The planet has been warming for thousands of years, ever since the end of the last mini ice age. Until recently, it was universally acknowledged that the sun and other forces beyond our control (i.e., volcanic activity) caused climate change. Debate and rigorous reexamination of the data was encouraged. Today, debate is being suppressed. That alone should raise the doubts of any reasonable person.

That politicians and the global elite are using this natural process to enrich themselves and increase their power is an outrage. That they are using bad data to terrify a gullible public is a crime against humanity. I can only be thankful that, at my age, I won’t live long enough to see the worst effects should we continue down this path. I continue to pray we change course.
