OPINION:
President Biden, in remarks tied to his recent meeting of the “Task Force on Reproductive Healthcare Access” — the fancy name for pro-abortion peeps — vowed not to “sit by” and allow Republicans to pass “extreme policies” that limit women’s access to the procedure.
Such is the pining of radical Democrats.
They can’t live without their daily dosage of death.
“Folks,” Biden said, “what century are we in? What are we doing? I respect everyone’s view on this, personal decisions they make, but my Lord, we’re talking about contraception here. It shouldn’t be that controversial, but this is what it looks like when you start to take away the right of privacy.”
Spoken like a good leftist Catholic.
Killing is not contraception. Killing is killing.
Only a Democrat could in the same sentence call on the Lord to approve the intentional destruction of His own creations, while simultaneously characterizing the destruction as a simple common-sense private and personal choice.
If abortion is a privacy issue, then all the much more recreational heroin use, prostitution and even, yes, even pedophilia. Wait for it; the logical extension gets you there soon enough.
It’s the Democrats’ failure to recognize the value of life that’s the real issue — that’s the real reason for their zeal to protect the right to abort.
It’s the Democrats’ dismissal of the beauty and magnificence of the human soul that’s the real root of their evil ways.
It’s impossible to pretend a pregnancy is simply a blob of cells with zero human quality if God is factored into the equation. Yes, Christians can still abort their babies; believers are still guilty of committing this atrocity. But they can’t pretend they’re simply exercising their privacy rights and removing just a batch of nothingness. They know they’re erasing life. They know of what they do.
Democrats, on the other hand, just don’t care. And they don’t care because they don’t want to care, because if they allow themselves to care — if they allow themselves to see and admit the truths of abortion — they fear they will feel a pinch from their conscience that will a) make them question their intentions and b) possibly, quite possibly, quit their planned abortions. They fear their eyes will be opened, their lawless ways exposed — to themselves! — and that the guilt that ensues will actually compel them to change.
That’s frightening.
It means giving up fleshly pursuits.
“So, the Dobbs decision created a healthcare crisis in America,” Vice President Kamala Harris said.
“To stop and reverse these attacks on women, we need to pass … a national [right-to-abort] law,” Harris said.
“[The Supreme] Court got Roe right nearly 50 years ago and … Congress should codify the protections of Roe and do it once and for all,” Biden said.
“My message to folks across the country who are worried about what we’re seeing is, first, that we have your back. We’re not going to — we’re not going to step back from this,” Biden said.
The culture of death will continue.
The Democrats’ march to evil will not stop.
What of abstinence? What of sex only within the confines of marriage?
That these options are mocked, scoffed at, derided and attacked only shows the depths of depravity Democrats to which have sunk.
“We’re not going to sit by and let Republicans throughout the country enact extreme policies to threaten access to basic healthcare,” Biden said.
He’s talking about death. He’s calling it policy. He’s characterizing those who fight for life as extreme. This is what the Democratic Party has become. Devil worshippers would be proud.
