If you want to disrupt the status quo, vote for Republican reformer David Krucoff to be Washington’s next Ward 3 councilman.
In 2022, the very notion of American citizenship is threatened by the Democratic Socialists of America. On the D.C. Council’s Judiciary and Public Safety Committee, the far-left voting bloc passed a 12-1 measure that allows undocumented people to vote in our local elections. At a time of skyrocketing crime and corruption, we cannot allow government to diminish the sacred power of voting rights that belong to the American people. Instead, the D.C. Council must invest in the police, repurpose old buildings to create new and better schools, reform the housing-voucher program and lower taxes on individuals and small businesses.
During this moment of chaos and criminality, Mr. Krucoff’s Democratic opponent wants to “bend the culture” and remove resource officers from schools, create fiscally irresponsible bike lanes on Connecticut Avenue that foster a false sense of security, pour money into the mismanaged District of Columbia Housing Authority and raise taxes on working people.
By perpetuating decadeslong, one-party control, unconstitutional measures such as non-Americans voting in elections will pass unanimously. We need a pro-democracy freedom defender to confront this madness in the Wilson Building, and that man’s name is David Krucoff.
