White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain came out to defend President Biden’s speech about so-called threats to American democracy by making this rather astonishing remark: Biden “decided a few days ago that it was important to issue one final warning on this issue.”

One final warning? About what? To whom — the American people?

Here’s a thought. Klain can take his “one final moment” remark and stick it where the sun don’t shine. So, too, the lapdog called Biden, who’s serving the far-left forces in the White House.

Government servants don’t issue warnings to the American people.

Government servants are in their roles to serve the American people — and if anyone’s going to issue warnings in this country, it’s the people to the government servants.

Klain and his ilk need a good lesson in American History 101. They should start with a reading of the Declaration of Independence, the part where it says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Then comes the warning.

Then comes the warning of the people to the government.

“[W]henever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,” the Declaration continues.

That’s the proper relationship of government to citizen — that the first is subservient to the second, so much so that the second has a recognized right to boot out the first for offenses to liberty.

“The president’s been talking about the threat to our democracy since he launched his campaign way back in 2019 … and I think the president decided a few days ago that it was important to issue one final warning on this issue, to make very clear, to leave no doubt that we have people out there still peddling the big lie, people now raising the issue of election denial in this election —” and so forth and so on and so forth, Klain said.

What a tool for communists.

His words conjure images of Marxist leaders threatening their people; of tyrannical dictators waving their arms madly while delivering angry threats against the citizenry; of the blood-red backdrop Biden used for a previous speech. The idea this administration is comfortable tossing out threats against the American people — undefined as they might be — is unacceptable. Election Day approaches. It’s high time to seize on the rights of the citizens and send a strong message to this arrogant government about how unacceptable such threats are and use the ballot box to “alter or abolish” this Democrat hubris.

When a government bureaucrat tries to intimidate an American citizen, the just and proper response of an American citizen is “shove it.”
