Maryland women’s basketball senior Diamond Miller was named the Big Ten Player of the Week by the conference on Monday.
Miller scored a career-high 32 points and added 10 rebounds in the Terrapins’ win at No. 17 Baylor on Sunday. She made five free throws down the stretch to seal the 73-68 triumph.
Earlier in the week, Miller scored 19 points, dished out six assists and tallied four steals in Maryland’s victory over Davidson.
No. 14 Maryland improved to 4-1 with the win over Baylor. Miller leads the Terrapins in scoring (21.0 points per game), rebounding (7.0) and blocks (1.5).
The Terrapins are back in action this weekend in the Fort Myers Tip-Off in Florida with games against DePaul, Towson and Pittsburgh.
