Tyreek Hill picks off Jameis Winston in pickup game

Jameis Winston can’t give up throwing pick-sixes — even in pickup games.

The interception-prone quarterback did what he does in a Fan Controlled Football game on Saturday, but instead of a random defensive player picking him off, another well-known NFL star was on the receiving end.

Tyreek Hill, the speedy wideout who was traded from Kansas City to Miami this offseason, jumped to intercept Winston’s pass in the end zone and then weaved through the crowd to score.

Winston, a former No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft, is too familiar with throwing interceptions. The Saints quarterback, who played well last season before tearing his ACL and missing the last three months of the season, has thrown 91 interceptions in 83 career games. In 2019, he became the first-ever NFL quarterback to throw 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season. 

Fan Controlled Football is a gimmicky 7-on-7 indoor league that gives fans the ability to call offensive plays. Former NFL first-round pick Johnny Manziel is a quarterback in the FCF and is the league’s most well-known player. Two weeks ago, NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, 48, caught a 12-yard touchdown in his FCF debut — his last football game since 2010. 

However, Winston isn’t the only NFL quarterback to get videoed throwing an interception this offseason. 

In April, video was shared online of a JUCO player picking off Aaron Rodgers in a charity game and then trolling the Packers quarterback by handing the ball back to him. Rodgers responded by throwing the football at him.
