Sean McVay is sick of coaching against Tom Brady.

When the seven-time champion retired in early February, it created one fewer obstacle for NFC teams to reach the Super Bowl

But then less than seven weeks later, Brady pulled a Brett Favre and unretired, reinstating the Buccaneers as a contender in the NFC and making the path harder for McVay’s Rams to repeat as Super Bowl champs.

“I was saying, ‘S***, man. Can we get this guy the hell out of the league?’” McVay joked Tuesday while talking to reporters at the NFL league meetings.

McVay has been on both ends of a Brady playoff game.

In Super Bowl 53 following the 2018 season, Brady’s Patriots defeated McVay’s Rams 13-3 for the quarterback’s sixth and final Lombardi with New England. But in January, McVay got his revenge, as his Rams staved off a classic second-half comeback attempt by Brady in a 30-27 NFC divisional round win. The Rams then went on to defeat the Bengals in the Super Bowl

Leading up to the game, some rumored that McVay, 36, was considering an early retirement from coaching to sign a lucrative deal as a football broadcaster. But he quelled those rumors quickly after the Super Bowl triumph, saying that he wants to “run it back” with the Rams.
