Does TB12 have a return policy?

Peyton Manning wants to know.

At an event hosted by The MINT Collective on Saturday, Manning told the audience about what he gave Tom Brady as a retirement gift, joking that he now wants the presents back. Manning sent Brady a two-page, handwritten letter and a bottle of wine after the Buccaneers quarterback announced his retirement on Feb. 1.

Then, less than seven weeks later, Brady unretired and announce he was returning to Tampa Bay.

“I want the letter back,” Manning joked. “You got to read all these nice things, I want it back. I want the bottle of wine back, too.”

The riff is the latest in Manning’s exploration of his comedic side. In January, the two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback appeared in a hilarious skit on “Saturday Night Live.” Instead of talking about the exciting NFL playoff games or Brady’s anticipated retirement, Manning gushed about the Netflix show “Emily in Paris.”
