Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is strong, resolute, determined, courageous and unflappable in the face of oncoming Russians led by a communist ex-KGBer who has vowed to murder him and bring the country of Ukraine to its knees.

In other words: Zelenskyy is everything a national leader should be. He’s everything the feckless U.S. President Biden should be.

“Russia is on the path of evil. Russia must lose its voice in the U.N.,” Zelenskyy said, by way of a translator for Germany’s news service Welt, Fox News reported.

“Ukrainians, we know exactly what we are defending. We will definitely win,” Zelenskyy went on.

It’s at about this point the translator lost control of emotions and started to choke up.

“Glory to each of our soldiers. Glory to Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said.

And the interpreter paused. She paused because she was so overcome by emotion she couldn’t speak.

“Excuse me,” she finally said.

Contrast that to America’s mentally deficient Biden who pauses frequently during speeches to remember where he is — to remember whether he’s president or senator — to remember to call Kamala Harris vice president, not president. Compare a headline like this — “Zelenskyy is a courageous leader. He deserves both America’s admiration and support,” from USA Today — to a headline like this: “Joe Biden’s mental acuity is cause for concern and action,” from a former Democratic congressman who knew Biden well and felt compelled to warn readers of The Des Moines Register with an opinion piece about America’s stumbling, bumbling commander-in-chief.

It’s apples to oranges.

More to truth, it’s apples to that squishy stuff that oozes from a marshmallow dropped on a hot section of cement in summertime. Biden, of course, represents the marshmallow’s innards.

And the whole world knows this to be true.

Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy becomes a hero for the ages,” The Star just wrote.

“How Volodymyr Zelenskyy found his roar,” The Economist just wrote.

“Zelenskyy is the wartime leader the world needs,” News9 Live just wrote.

In 2013, on the heels of drawing yet another “red line,” then-President Barack Obama pulled back on his promised attack over Syria to allow Russia’s Vladimir Putin the chance to peacefully disarm the Syrian government of its chemical weapons’ stocks — the very chemical weapons’ stocks Syria’s Bashar Assad had oh-so-forcefully promised did not even exist. The very chemical weapons’ stocks that had compelled Obama to take such a firm, wait, not firm, wait, quite the opposite of firm, wait, totally un-firm, stand over, while issuing and proclaiming and mightily pronouncing, grandly and grandstand-edly, “Bashar, if you use these chemical weapons to attack Syrians, then America will attack!” — i.e., the famous “red line.”

The famous red line, drawn as it was with silly string, then became the foreign policy albatross around Obama’s neck because it represented that time he ceded the world stage to Putin, who swooped in and negotiated a peace deal over weapons that Assad never acknowledged possessing. America was a foreign policy laughingstock. Putin had bested Obama. In so doing, Putin had bested America.

The Obama White House exposed itself, once again, as weak, weak, weak. And weak.

Now comes Biden, a guy everybody already knew was weak. Why? He campaigned from his basement, for crying out loud. He talks with more authority about ice cream flavors than about the Constitution, for crying out loud. Now comes Zelenskyy who is besting the very same guy who bested America’s previous president, Obama. Quite the contrast of leadership here.

Zelenskyy makes interpreters cry because of his strong stand for freedom in the face of mounting adversity.

Biden makes Americans cry because he is so inept that the world is laughing at this nation — laughing and exploiting.

If only America had a Zelenskyy right now — Ukraine would not be at war.
