OPINION:
Russia has warned President Biden that if Ukraine receives advanced U.S. military weapons and uses those weapons to attack Russian territory, it will attack the U.S.
Russia can easily use non-nuclear, hypersonic missiles to destroy America’s electrical grid and infrastructure. Our missiles cannot intercept Russia’s hypersonic missiles.
Mr. Biden thinks that because Ukraine promised not to use those weapons to strike Russian territory, we’re all safe from a Russian attack. However, if Ukraine breaks its promise and uses the MLRS weapons system America is giving it to attack Russian territory, we may be saying goodbye to our electricity.
Mr. Biden will be safe and comfortable, but much of the rest of the country may not be. We depend on electricity for just about everything. Americans by the millions will starve to death. We will implode, but hey, it’s all for Ukraine.
