OPINION:
After two-plus COVID-19 years of pretending he was above the politics while simultaneously pushing a far-left political agenda that bent America to globalist will, and after almost five decades of service in the federal field of medical bureaucracy, Anthony Fauci is retiring at the end of Joe Biden’s presidential term. Reportedly.

This is a guy who will go down in history as pressing the government to seize individual freedoms based on coronavirus fears — all the while feigning a total hands-off approach to policy and politics. Among his highlights?
“I am somebody who only cares about science and health,” he said, while accusing those who questioned his science and health recommendations as politically motivated and, well, unscientific.
“[I]t’s easy to criticize, but they’re really criticizing science because I represent science,” Fauci said.
All hail the scientist!
Who needs a Constitution when there’s a scientist to say how to live?
“[I]n the United States, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to wear a mask,” Fauci said in March 2021.
Flip. Flop. And beyond.
“If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on it, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci later said, while recommending that two face masks are better than one. It’s not only “common sense.” It’s science — and it’s science because Fauci declared himself to be “science” so naturally, anything he recommends must, by logical extension, be science.
More Fauci nuggets?
“Dr. Fauci ‘caught lying’ to Congress after book exposes details of Wuhan lab-linked grant,” Rep. Michael Burgess, a medical doctor, put on his congressional website.
“Fauci claims ‘gain of function’ is ‘completely meaningless term’ as he defends NIH actions,” The Washington Examiner wrote in 2021.
Don’t want to take the COVID shot — then shots — then booster and booster and more booster shots?
“You’ve got to ask, ‘What is the problem?’ Get over it,” Fauci said in response to vaccine hesitancy in 2021. “Get over this political statement. Just get over it and try and save the lives of yourself and your family.”
The implied: ‘Cause I know better than you how to live your life.
Politico, then Fox News, reported Fauci is retiring at the end of Biden’s administration.
