Antonio Brown has identified his next quarterback — at least in his head.

The erratic wide receiver said on Monday that the next quarterback on his bucket list is Baltimore Ravens signal caller Lamar Jackson.

“Action Jackson,” the six-time Pro Bowl selection said on the “I Am Athlete” podcast. “Let’s give Lamar Jackson his flowers. Shout out Lamar Jackson. That’s it. Lamar Jackson is a great quarterback. Not only him throwing the ball, the dynamic of him playing, the excitement.”

Jackson then retweeted the video of Brown praising the 25-year-old quarterback.

Monday was not the first hint by Jackson that he wants the Ravens to sign Brown.

In April 2020, Jackson worked out with Brown and Ravens wide receiver Marquise Brown. Antonio Brown and Marquise Brown are cousins. The workout was held after Antonio Brown’s controversy-filled 2019, which included him being traded from the Steelers to the Raiders, released by Oakland, signed by New England and then released again after sexual assault allegations.

“I’d be happy if they signed him,” Jackson said of Antonio Brown in 2020. “He’s a great player. He showed it each and every year when he was with the Steelers in the past, but it’s not my decision.”

The Ravens organization hasn’t seemed interested in the past in signing Antonio Brown, who was released from the Buccaneers this month a few days after he removed his jersey and ran shirtless through the end zone during Tampa Bay’s Week 17 game. General manager Eric DeCosta avoided answering a question about him in 2020, and coach John Harbaugh said a few months later that the team wasn’t talking about potentially signing the former Steelers star.
