During his press conference this week, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown said it was the media, not him, that was “all about drama.”

Well, it’s possible Brown will no longer be talking to NFL media after his antics Sunday during the Buccaneers’ game against the New York Jets.

With his team on the field in the third quarter, Brown took off his pads and uniform, threw some gear into the stands and jogged off the field while waving to the New York fans.

Brown wasn’t ejected by the officials during the game, and it is unclear what led to the incident. Per the broadcast on CBS, his Buccaneers teammates, including wide receiver Mike Evans, tried to talk Brown out of what looked like a sideline meltdown.

Brown, the embattled former Steelers wide receiver, had a chance to make an extra $1 million in incentives in the final two games of the season. Tampa Bay was trailing 24-10 when he exited, and Brown had three catches for 26 yards.

After the game, Tampa Bay coach Bruce Arians said Brown is no longer with the team.
