OPINION:
Joe Biden is nominally in charge, but ever since he farmed out his agenda to the Sanders/Warren/Squad wing of the party, normative liberals and all other Americans have had a bad case of indigestion (“Biden’s feckless foreign policy provokes dangerous adventurism,” Web, Feb. 10).
Regular congressional order has become irregular, prudent budgeting has become imprudent, identity politics has replaced merit as a criterion for office and bipartisanship in foreign affairs (remember when Congress observed a ’politics ends at the water’s edge’ rule?) has been replaced with the Foggy Bottom Boys crooning the Biden Blues as China, Russia, North Korea and Iran send new missiles into the deep blue yonder. Why wouldn’t informed citizens be appalled with the Biden status quo?
