Michael McKenna would be excellent as chair of the Republican National Committee (“Vote for me, Michael McKenna, for RNC chair,” Web, Dec. 9). Were he to take on the position, there is no doubt he would be missed by Washington Times readers. So to the Times if Mr. McKenna’s aspiration comes to fruition, please hold his spot as a columnist after his tenure as RNC chair. Because there is another vitally important leadership position to be filled by someone of Mr. McKenna’s caliber: speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
