Cam Newton is once again under fire for sexist comments.

Newton, who in 2017 said it was “funny” to hear a woman asking a legitimate football question, said on a podcast Monday that he doesn’t like women who “don’t know when to be quiet.”

“Now a woman for me is handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs. Right?” Newton said on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. “And I think a lot of times when you get that aesthetic of, ‘I’m a boss b****, I’m this, I’m that.’ No baby. But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet. You don’t know how to allow a man to lead.”

The conversation on the podcast began with Newton talking about his parents and grandmother.

“I grew up in a three-parent household: my mom, my father and my grandmother. And I knew what a woman was. Not a bad b****,” Newton said.

“A bad b**** is a person who’s just, you know, ‘Girl I’m a bad b****, I’m doing this, I’m doing that.’ I look the part but I don’t act the part,” Newton added. “There’s a lot of women who are bad b******. And I say b****** in a way, not to degrade a woman, but just to go off the aesthetic of what they deem is a boss chick.”

NFL fans on social media have resoundingly condemned Newton for his comments, which also reminded people of his incident with a female reporter five years ago. When he was the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, Newton mocked then-Charlotte Observer reporter Jourdan Rodrigue for a question she asked, simply because she was a woman.

“It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes,” Newton said.

The NFL condemned Newton’s response, saying they did not “reflect the thinking of the league.” The quarterback later apologized in a video.

“I understand that my word choice was extremely degrading and disrespectful to women,’’ he said in 2017.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Newton has not apologized for his comments on the podcast.

For all the talk about bad b*****, it’s important to note that Newton is now a bad quarterback.

The former Heisman Trophy winner and 2015 NFL MVP was one of the worst signal callers in the league last season, completing just 54.8% of his passes and a 64.4 quarterback rating in five starts with the Panthers (all losses). He is currently a free agent.
