An environmentalist group called Adbusters took to Twitter to call for supporters to let out the air of SUVs tires as a means of combating pollutants.

Destroying property in the name of the green god — how quaint. How very indicative of how far leftists will go to achieve their radical designs.

“So here’s what we do,” the group tweeted. “Wedge gravel in the tire valves, leaflet the SUV to let them know the tires are flat and why it was done, and walk away.”

In other words: Commit a property crime.

Break the law.

“It’s that simple,” Adbusters finished. “If we organize, we can hit enough SUVs in particular neighborhoods to spark reporting and spread the meta meme.”

And why is this call for violence still on Twitter?

The answer’s obvious. It’s because the leftist loons who run the Twitter censor board are as loony as the loons in the environmentalist movement. It’s because the censors of Twitter agree with the campaign.

After all, in the minds of Democrats, cultural Marxists, socialists and the general thug element that’s become the mark of the Democratic Party and Democratic Party supporters — all means are justified, even violence, so long as the end is achieved. And in the eyes of the left, climate change — or more to the truth, the need for government to address climate change with regulation and forced compliance measures — is the more important matter to take up, more important than Russia, more important than inflation, more important than anything else.

“[The climate is] the biggest crisis we’ve faced as a species and we are failing the test at every single step,” Adbusters said, Fox News reported. “It’s time for us to carefully escalate our methods in a non-violent manner to convey the seriousness of this crisis in tangible ways.”

That this group doesn’t see crimes of property destruction as acts of violence is shameful.

That its members then cavalierly recommend going after rich people first is oh so predictable — and oh so suggestive that it’s not just the climate they’re trying to change, but rather the distribution of wealth.

They’re angry at the haves because they’re part of the have-nots, and the reason they’re part of the have-nots is because they choose to commit crimes instead of work hard for what they want in life.

“Start by targeting wealthy areas,” they write. “[O]ur goal isn’t to disrupt workers — and avoid targeting vehicles with disabled stickers or hangers.”

Spoken like true socialists.

Spoken like good little troopers of Marxism.

And watch for the telltale sign of hypocrisy that always marks the environmental movement — always marks the left when it takes to the streets for activism: These criminals will probably flee the scene of their criminal activities in gas-guzzling, carbon-dioxide-emitting vehicles.
