OPINION:
The Biden presidency sets a bad precedent, period (“Majority thinks Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate sets a bad precedent, poll shows,” Web, Sept. 13). By electing Biden, the U.S. has lowered the standards for future presidential candidates.
Never before in the history of America have voters elected a weak, frail-looking president who struggles cognitively and needs to be scripted. Biden is an insult to the title of U.S. president. And mandating vaccines for Americans while illegal immigrants get a vaccine pass is not only a double standard, it’s hypocritical and counterproductive to the health, safety and welfare of our nation. This comes after Biden promised, during his presidential campaign, that he would not mandate vaccines. It just proves his word is worthless.
Biden’s vaccine mandate makes no sense whatsoever in only applying to Americans. Anyone who crosses the U.S. border should be vaccinated. What is good for one is good for all.
