OPINION:
Several recent Times headlines make my blood boil: “Chaotic exit latest Biden challenge” (Page 1, Sept. 1); “Biden blindsided by radical Islam and Americans pay with their lives” (Web, Aug. 31); “Joe ’Mr. Diplomacy’ Biden sinks special relationship with United Kingdom” (Web, Aug. 31); “Biden plays politics with our national security” (Web, Aug. 31); and “With Biden’s insulting behavior, the devil is in the details” (Web, Aug. 31). Do these columnists really believe Biden is in charge?
A president who doesn’t manage his press-conference list is not a president who is making the big decisions. So who is? As Tammy Bruce writes, “With Biden the devil is in the details.” What if Biden the statesman, now struggling with dementia and in the nefarious hands of enemies of the state, has been giving us clues all along — clues that look like slips of the tongue, but are also truth? Remember his statement about his party and the biggest election fraud in history? What about his constant reminders to us that when he calls on someone he shouldn’t, he’s going to get into trouble? Why does no one ask, “Trouble with whom?”
If we find out who is managing Biden, we find out who is making the decisions — decisions that filled the planes with Afghans vetted by the Taliban and left hundreds of American citizens in a hell hole.
Media, stop giving lip service to this puppet show and get behind the scenes to find out who is pulling the strings.
