DK Metcalf tried to pull a Bobby Valentine

The Seattle Seahawks receiver was ejected in Sunday’s 17-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers, but that didn’t stop Metcalf from attempting to reenter the game in the fourth quarter. Officials caught Metcalf right away, and the receiver jogged to the sideline.

The NFL Network reported Monday that Metcalf is likely to be fined but not suspended. He was thrown out for scuffling with two Packers in the fourth quarter.

Metcalf’s actions drew shades of former New York Mets manager Bobby Valentine, who once was thrown out of a game only to try to return to the bench in a disguise.

The Seahawks were shut out Sunday for the first time with Russell Wilson, the team’s starter since 2012, at quarterback.
