Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and the rest of the classic “Friends” cast are officially back for a reunion special, set to air May 27.
HBO Max dropped a trailer for the event on Wednesday, which immediately lit up the YouTube traffic stats with nearly 1.5 million views within hours.
The advertisement for the iconic show’s reunion, lasting just over two minutes, suggests plenty of reminiscing, behind-the-scenes stories, guest appearances, and surprises.
“I’m gonna cry now,” Matthew Perry says at one point while being comforted by Ms. Aniston.
“Everyone was so perfectly cast,” adds David Schwimmer, who played Ross.
The trailer also features script reading by Lisa Kudrow and anecdotes on fame and paparazzi by Matt LeBlanc.
“Friends” ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004 and become a cultural phenomenon on a par with “Seinfeld,” as the two shows dominated Thursday prime-time for years on NBC’s “must see TV.”
