Joe Rogan says the placation of “woke” activists has put the U.S. on a trajectory where “straight white men are not allowed to talk.”

The host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” told fellow comedian Joe List that the western world is living in “f—king crazy times” filled with “privilege”-obsessed ideologues.

“You can never be ’woke’ enough,” Mr. Rogan said during a May 13 broadcast. “That’s the problem. It keeps going. It keeps going further and further and further down the line, and you get to the point where you capitulate where you agree to all these demands. It will eventually get to ’straight white men are not allowed to talk.’”

Mr. Rogan added that activists refuse to drop an eye-for-an-eye mentality regarding historical grievances and adopt a “we just gotta be nice to each other” philosophy.

“[It won’t stop] because it’s your privilege to express yourself when other people of color have been silenced throughout history,” he added while explaining the woke rationale. “It will be ’you’re not allowed to go outside because so many people were imprisoned for so many years.’ I mean, I’m not joking. It’s that crazy.”

The famous UFC commentator said that the willingness by so many people to buy into woke rhetoric has created a cottage industry for activists.

“There’s a lot of people that are taking advantage of this weirdness in our culture, and then that becomes their thing,” he said. “Their thing is calling people out for their privilege. Calling people out for their position. You know. So, f—king crazy times.”
