Bradley Beal didn’t play in Monday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks. But he still got in plenty of shots.
The Washington Wizards star went after Kent Bazemore on Twitter, hurling multiple insults toward the Golden State Warriors forward for Bazemore’s comments earlier in the day.
Prior to Golden State’s game against the Utah Jazz, Bazemore took a shot at Beal — telling reporters “we’ve got guys hurting hamstrings to keep up” with teammate Steph Curry in the NBA’s scoring race. Beal trails Curry slightly in points per game, but the Wizards guard hurt his hamstring over the weekend.
The comment caught Beal’s attention — and he fired off a series of tweets.
Lol should I let him live or really go off?

Beal’s “ya mans” tweet references Curry’s acknowledgment that the Warriors star knew Beal put up 50 points in Saturday’s win over the Indiana Pacers. Curry then proceeded to score 49 points in 29 minutes to keep his lead in the scoring race.
This isn’t the first time that Beal and Bazemore have had beef, either. During the 2017 Playoffs, Beal and Bazemore got into a scuffle after Bazemore, then with the Hawks, delivered a hard foul on a Beal breakaway dunk.
Bazemore responded to Beal’s antics after Monday’s win over the Jazz.
“I guess you can’t joke anymore,” Bazemore said. “Whatever. I feel like I’m a pretty lighthearted guy. Hey man — my loyalty is to SC30. It kind of got out of hand. I don’t get involved with that crap.”
