MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The U.S. Marshals Service has joined the search for a man suspected of shooting five people, killing three, in Memphis, Tennessee.
A news release Monday said the Marshals Service is offering an undisclosed cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Michael Tucker.
A warrant was issued for Tucker’s arrest after three people were killed and two others were wounded in a shooting in Memphis on Friday night, authorities said.
Police first responded to reports of a shooting victim in a north Memphis neighborhood, the police said on Twitter. The person who was shot was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
About 20 minutes later, officers learned of more people who were shot. One woman was taken to a hospital in noncritical condition. Two men and one woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
Memphis police have not released the names of the victims. Tucker is considered armed and “extremely dangerous,” the Marshals Service said.
