Racism under the banner of anti-racism. Hate under the banner of love. Intolerance under the banner of tolerance. Exclusion in the name of inclusion. Canceling the goodness of Dr. Seuss while extolling the grunge and grind of Cardi B. If you often find yourself scratching your head wondering how in the world we got here, look no further than your local schools.

Consider this week’s winner of the “Orwell is Laughing Award” as reported by Chris Rufo of the Discovery Institute.

Mr. Rufo breaks the story as follows: “Scoop: California’s proposed ‘ethnic studies’ curriculum calls for the ‘decolonization’ of American society and has students chant to the Aztec god of human sacrifice. The solution, according to one author, is a ‘counter-genocide’ against white Christians.”

Yep, you read that correctly. They actually said it. The smarter-than-thou folks who are crafting the curriculum for our nation’s most populous state just told you that they now want to teach “counter-genocide” to over 6 million children and teens in California’s public schools.

What could possibly go wrong?

Here’s more detail from Mr. Rufo on the proposed curriculum: “California’s Ethnic Studies Model instructs students to ‘challenge racist, bigoted, discriminatory, imperialist/colonial beliefs ‘and critique’ white supremacy, racism and other forms of power and oppression,’” and to teach young people that the mindset of every single immigrant coming to the shores of early colonial America was “Eurocentric, white supremacist, capitalist, patriarchal, heteropatriarchal, and anthropocentric …”

Wait, you say, I thought immigration was an unquestionable moral good?

Well, not so much if the immigrants in question are of the wrong race. Not if they are Anglo-European. Not if they are White.

“White Christians,” says the California curriculum’s co-author, R. Tolteka Cuauhtin, “committed ‘theocide’ against indigenous tribes, killing their gods and replacing them with Christianity. White settlers thus established a regime of coloniality, dehumanization, and genocide.”

And what is the solution for all this Christian Whiteness?

Well, that’s easy; “counter-genocide” against people of the wrong color and wrong religion, and all while chanting to the Aztec god of human sacrifice!

Mr. Rufo describes it this way, “Students [are instructed to] first clap and chant to the god Tezkatlipoka — whom the Aztecs traditionally worshipped with human sacrifice and cannibalism — asking him for the power to be ‘warriors’ for ‘social justice.’

“Next, the students chant to the gods Quetzalcoatl, Huitzilopochtli, and Xipe Totek, seeking ‘healing epistemologies’ and ‘a revolutionary spirit.’ Huitzilopochtli, in particular, is the Aztec deity of war and inspired hundreds of thousands of human sacrifices during Aztec rule. Finally, the chant comes to a climax with a request for ‘liberation, transformation, [and] decolonization,’ after which students shout ‘Panche beh! Panche beh!’ in pursuit of ultimate ‘critical consciousness.’”

This is all done in a posture of “transformational resistance” with the ultimate goal to engineer a “counter-genocide” against White Christians and their “heterosexism.”

Joel Abbott of Not the Bee summarizes this way, “Who needs Judeo-Christian principles like life, liberty, and loving others when you can cut out people’s hearts and eat them?”

So, let me repeat: “Counter-genocide!” They are now calling for “counter-genocide.” One more time — Counter Genocide.

Add this to what Yusra Khogali, a Black Lives Matter leader, has said - “white people are a genetic defect of blackness. Whiteness is not humanness. In fact, white skin is sub-human. White people are recessive genetic defects. This is factual … Black people simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to.”

And Nick Cannon — White people are a “little less,” and are “closer to animals,” and are the “true savages.”

And Nikole Hannah-Jones, the lead essayist for The New York Times’ 1619 Project (a curriculum that is now being incorporated into American school systems from coast to coast), who has openly called Whites “barbaric devils,” a “savage people,” “bloodsuckers in our community.”

And let’s not forget The New York Times’ Sarah Jeong, who after tweeting that Whites are “goblins,” who “smell like dogs,” openly called to “cancel all white people.”

If you don’t think this is serious, you need a serious wake-up call.

Richard Weaver told us in his 1948 seminal work, “Ideas Have Consequences,” that ideas have consequences! Abraham Lincoln reportedly once said, “The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will become the philosophy of the government in the next.” And Hitler ominously concurred when he sneered, “Let me control the textbooks, and I will control the state.”

What is taught today in the classroom will be practiced tomorrow in our culture. All ideas bear fruit. And the fruit of teaching victimization and vice will be violence on a massive scale if we don’t stop this madness.
