The wife of former Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins was charged with domestic battery, stemming from an alleged assault on the football player in Las Vegas in early July.

According to multiple reports, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins faces a felony charge of battery and domestic violence after she allegedly punched her husband in the face after an argument at the Cosmopolitan on July 3.

Haskins had a split lip and was missing a tooth when the police arrived and was transported to a local hospital that night. The police found his tooth and blood on the floor during their investigation.

The couple was reportedly in Las Vegas to renew their wedding vows with a group of friends before the altercation. Haskins told police that it was the first time an altercation with his wife turned physical, reports said.

Haskins signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers this past offseason after being released by the Washington Football Team. He’s expected to back up Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
