MT. VERNON, Mo. (AP) - Two teenagers and an 85-year-old man are dead after an accident on Interstate 44 in southwestern Missouri.
The head on accident happened Sunday night near Mt. Vernon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a pickup truck driven by 85-year-old Evert Hair of Billings was eastbound in the westbound lanes when it struck a car.
The driver of the car, 17-year-old Izik Fudge, died, along with a 17-year-old passenger, Navaeh Aust. Both were from Mt. Vernon.
