KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A former restaurant worker in Tennessee shot two employees at the small business Sunday, killing one of them, before taking his own life, police said.
Knoxville police said the ex-worker, Christopher Robert MacGuire, entered the restaurant and shot two employees following an altercation before fleeing.
MacGuire’s body was later found in a car, police said in a statement.
Alexis Clayton, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another restaurant worker was in critical condition at a hospital, the statement said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
