AURORA, Colo. (AP) - Aurora police say they have arrested a man in connection with explosions that damaged three homes since late last month.

The Gazette of Colorado Springs reports that a special weapons and tactics team arrested Scott A. Campbell at his home at about 11 p.m. Friday.

The first explosion, early on Christmas Day, damaged two homes on East Mansfield Avenue in southeast Aurora. The second damaged a home on South Pagosa circle on Jan. 7.

Campbell was being held in the Arapahoe County Jail on a $1 million bond Saturday and was scheduled to make an initial appearance on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., according to online jail records.

It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney who could speak on his behalf.

The arrest followed a joint investigation between the multi-jurisdictional Regional Anti-Violence Enforcement Network; Aurora Fire Rescue’s Fire Investigation Bureau; U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms; and Aurora police.
