John Kerry, President Joe Biden’s climate envoy, has been making quite a media stir lately about the need for climate change to be treated as a top-notch, top-of-the-list, top-priority national security issue.

And not to be rude, but — what about that private jet Kerry rode to Iceland in 2019 to receive his environmental leadership award?

Kerry apparently thinks his own jet’s fuel doesn’t stink. When asked about it, he said this: “[It’s] the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle,” Fox News reported.

In other words — Kerry is a hero. He’s taking one for the team. He doesn’t want to be a polluter; he hates that he has to fly by, gasp, private jet. But he’ll do it. He’s doing it. He’ll gulp and suffer and bite down hard and eat the antacids because, by golly, he’s getting out the word about climate change.

We should be thanking him, really.

“I negotiated the Paris Accords for the United States,” he said, when asked by an Icelandic reporter to explain the carbon emission extravagance.

“I’ve been involved with this fight for years,” he said.

“I negotiated with [China] President Xi to bring President Xi to the table so we could get Paris,” he said.

Well and good. Good and gooder. But even Greta Thunberg took a boat.

Not so Kerry

“I believe, the time it takes me to get somewhere, I can’t sail across the ocean. I have to fly, meet with people and get things done.”

Isn’t that why most everyone flies?

To get things done quickly?

If everyone had time, they’d walk. But everyone’s busy, so they fly.

“I’m not going to be put on the defensive,” Kerry said.

“I’m … working to win the battle on climate change,” he said.

And with that, yet another glorious page of the mega-bestseller “Environmentalists Are Raging Hypocrites” was turned.

Kerry is but one.

The global warming — global cooling — acid rain — hairspray-through-the-ozone — climate change — 12 Years To Total Destruction club is crowded with like-minded, like-living hypocrites and elitists.
