The “Manning Cast” has been one of the most talked-about features of the NFL season.

Most Monday nights, brothers Peyton and Eli Manning hop on ESPN2 for an alternate broadcast of “Monday Night Football,” during which they watch the game, give analysis and interview a wide range of guests.

On Monday, the Mannings had FOX broadcaster Joe Buck on at the end of the New England Patriots’ 14-10 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Peyton Manning asked Buck if he ever wishes he could have a guest on for an interview when he is announcing a blowout game. Buck then landed quite the jab — all in good fun.

“Yeah, you know the last time I thought about that? When you guys played Seattle in the Super Bowl,” Buck joked.

Super Bowl XLVIII following the 2013 season between Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks was one of the biggest blowouts in the game’s history. The Seahawks defeated the Broncos 43-8, and the game was over by the third quarter.

The elder Manning laughed, while his younger brother reveled in the shade thrown by Buck.

“Oh, shots fired. Yes!” replied Eli Manning.
