OPINION:
Talk is cheap. And talk is apparently all Joe Biden is good for (“Biden’s Christmas crisis: 2021 ends with 400K more COVID-19 deaths,” Web, Dec. 25). After he promised to “crush the virus,” there were more COVID-19 deaths on Biden’s watch than there had been on President Trump’s. As we have seen, Biden is long on promises but short on delivery.
Even in the most unlikely scenario that Biden runs again in 2024, what makes him think Americans would cast their vote for a bumbling president who can’t keep his word? Let’s face it: Biden was not fit to be president the first time around. The only reason he won the election is because many people were hell-bent on getting rid of Trump. And now that Biden has made a mockery of the highest job in the land, there will be no second chances.
