The final Pro Bowl fan voting results were released Monday, and Washington special teamers DeAndre Carter and Camaron Cheeseman lead the NFC at their respective positions.

Carter, a free-agent signing this offseason, received 111,471 fan votes to be the NFC’s return specialist in the Pro Bowl, while Cheeseman, a rookie, got 72,416 votes to be the conference’s long snapper.

Washington defensive tackle Jonathan Allen, who leads the team in sacks with 7 1/2 sacks, finished second in fan voting.

The official Pro Bowl rosters are scheduled to be released Wednesday at 8 p.m. Fan voting makes up one-third of the formula to determine who makes the teams. Votes from coaches and players each count for one-third as well.

Carter leads the NFC in kick return yards with 747 in 13 games — 110 more yards than Seattle’s DeeJay Dallas. Carter’s return total is second in the NFL, behind only Los Angeles Chargers’ Andre Roberts, who has totaled 815 yards in 14 games. The 28-year-old has the second-longest kickoff return in the NFL this season with his 101-yard touchdown return in Washington’s Week 4 win over Atlanta.

Carter has also produced as a wide receiver for quarterback Taylor Heinicke, totaling 21 catches for 279 yards and three touchdowns. He scored a touchdown in three straight games, including in wins over Tampa Bay and Carolina.

The Pro Bowl wasn’t played last season due to the pandemic, but rosters were still made. Defensive end Chase Young and guard Brandon Scherff were selected to the NFC team.

The Pro Bowl is set for Sunday, Feb. 6, in Las Vegas at 3 p.m. on ESPN.

Correction: An earlier version of this story misstated Jonathan Allen’s final fan vote rank.
